Corelle square 30-piece pure white. This 30-piece set contains six each of dinner plates, dessert plates, 10-ounce bowls, 18-ounce bowls and 6 mugs. Click Here for More Detail I thought the square plates would be awkward to use but they are very 'user friendly'. The clean lines and the fine white look of this dinnerware meets my expectations. The dinner/luncheon plates have a round circular bottom and are slightly deep to be able to hold sauces without worry of spill-over. The smallest bowls are perfect for ice cream or a small dessert, just the perfect size for that little treat. The luncheon plates are plenty big for a whole meal, while the dinner plates are perfect for those above-average appetites. Very pleased with this purchase. This is my favorite pattern - I like it even better than R&B's Peyton and Forum patterns, but FOR SURE it is not 18/10, as it showed rust spots after only a single washing. Looks like a lot of silver companies are going to 18/0 composition - I guess they think they can pass this crap off on people. Personally, I hope they are wrong - I returned mine. I sent this flatware back because it was pricey and not as heavy as I would have liked. Good for everyday, but I wasn't looking for everyday flatware. "I read the reviews on this product before I decided to purchase it from Amazon even though some of the reviewers stated they didn't think the stainless was 18/10 as is stated on Amazon's site. It arrived yesterday and upon examination there were, as another reviewer said, no markings stating it was 18/10 either stamped on the flatware it's self or on the packaging. I decided to send an email to Reed and Barton to see if they could shed some light on this discrepancy, and since I also own a another set of their flatware called Hammered stamped with 18/8 I asked about that also. Here's their reply:
Hello, the Crescendo II is not 18/10. It is 18/chrome (0). If the hammered pattern is stamped 18/8 that is what it is. All of our patterns used to be 18/8 then we went to 18/10 now most of our patterns sold in sets are 18/chrome (0).

I intend to email Amazon with this information and return the Crescendo II set I purchased from them. The Hammered set I own that is 18/8 has held up very well (8 years) with no pitting or staining, but then I only use it for special occasions and hand wash it afterward. It's a beautiful set.
" I purchased this set as a gift and both myself and the receiver were pleased with it. It came packaged very nicely and the caddy was nice, a little large for a typical drawer however. My only concern is that none of the pieces were marked as being 18/10 which is one of the main reasons I purchased this set. I have a Reed & Barton 18/10 set myself and every piece has that clearly marked on the back of it. There was nothing on the box either to indicate that it was in fact 18/10. So I don't know if this was a misrepresentation of the product or if all of their 18/10 is simply not marked(which I seriously doubt). This is the reason I only gave it 2 stars because I feel that they have the discription wrong on this one and I did not get the higher quality set I thought I was ordering. I have had my set for 3 months now and there is alot of rust on the tines of the forks and on the knives. Great price but I regret my purchase.

I did the math, based on the past 40 Super Bowls. The chances of each digit coming up are:
0: 18.4
1: 12.0
2: 2.5
3: 14.9
4: 10.8
5: 4.1
6: 9.2
7: 17.1
8: 5.4
9: 5.7
Three is the 3rd best number, behind 0 and 7. Six is near the middle. Nine isn't so good. Your 3-3 has a pretty good shot.

3 Bowling Techniques to Make a Strike or Spare
It is a strike, when all of the pins are knocked down “on the first ball of a frame.”
Every bowler would like to hit a strike and score big to win with this action, but it is not merely a stroke of luck. Bowlers who want to make it big by hitting strikes more often than not have to work at it.
Like in any sport, great action comes in small packages, where the attention is focused on the techniques learned and used by that player. It is important for every player to know how to hone his or her skills to win the game.
So for those who wish to make a strike or a spare in order to win a match, here are three bowling techniques that they can use:
1. Spinner
This technique refers to the way of delivering a shot with the intention that no more than a minor part of the ball touches contacts the lane. This technique promotes less friction between the ball and the lane, not considering the “oiling pattern” of that lane. As a result the ball glides practically in a straight line down the lane.
Experts contend, however, that this kind of shot is not very successful in that it does not attempt to take full advantage of the dragging the power of the bowler.
2. Stroker
With this kind of technique, the bowler relies more on precision than strength. This technique is characterized by employing the “by the book” style of playing that entails the proper execution of even movements, keeping square shoulders to the target all the way through the release of the ball, and maintaining an on-time move at the “foul line.”
This is the “classic” technique of most bowlers because it employs smooth and controlled movements and lessens the possibility of injuries.
3. Cranker
This is the kind of technique that is being employed by a bowler who relies more on his strength to deliver a good shot rather than accuracy. It is like ‘hitting hard’ when a bowler uses this technique.
The skill involves more adrenaline that constitutes the bowler’s drive to win.
Usually, crankers use “late timing”, they do not slide, attempt to get to the “foul line” earlier than the ball, and they bend their elbows to keep their hands at the back and beneath the ball.
There are no perfect techniques, but there is a particular technique for every player. The important thing is to create a strike or even a spare.
